Activating your eSIM - Instructions for iPhone, Samsung, Xiaomi, and Google Pixel

To stay connected to the internet while traveling, the eSIM must first be activated. This step-by-step guide will show you how.

Installing an eSIM

First, the eSIM needs to be installed on your smartphone. If you haven't done this yet, we recommend reading our article for installation instructions.

Activate eSIM on iPhone

  1. Open Settings

  2. Go to Cellular

  3. Tap on your previously installed eSIM

  4. Select "Activate this line"

  5. Enable data roaming

Activate eSIM on Samsung

  1. Open Settings

  2. Go to Connections

  3. Tap "SIM Manager" and select your eSIM

  4. Scroll down to "Mobile Data" and select your eSIM

  5. Enable data roaming

Activate eSIM on Xiaomi

  1. Open Settings

  2. Go to "Mobile Networks"

  3. In the "Data SIM" section, select the "e" icon

  4. Enable data roaming

Activate eSIM on Google Pixel

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap "Network & Internet"

  3. Go Go to "SIM cards"

  4. Select your eSIM and tap "Use eSIM"

  5. Turn on data roaming
